Zinc futures rise on spot demand


New Delhi: Zinc prices rose 20 paise to Rs 192.35 per kg inside futures trade on Mon, tracking a firm trend inside physical markets on the bed of pick up in spot demand. On the Multi Asset Exchange, zinc contracts with regard to September delivery traded larger by 20 paise, or maybe 0.1 per cent, in Rs 192.35 for each kg with a business return of 3,051 lots. Marketmen said widening of placements by participants following grab in demand from eating industries kept zinc selling prices higher in futures trade.
