Tanla Solutions Q1 results: Reports profit of Rs 79 cr


NEW DELHI: Communication services firm Tanla Solutions on Wednesday submitted a consolidated profit of Rs 78.6 crore in the first quarter finished June 30, 2020.

The company had registered a good loss of Rs 75.7 crore in the very same quarter a year ago.

“Tanla’s quarterly performance bucks the trend amongst the raging pandemic disrupting global economies. Our special market standing as a major digital and cloud marketing communications player have resulted in solid topline and bottomline development both year-on-year and even quarter-on-quarter,” Tanla Chairman and Managing Director Uday Reddy said in a statement.

The company’s total income expanded 17.4 per cent in order to Rs 468.77 crore during the reported quarter via Rs 399.27 crore in the corresponding 1 / 4 of 2019-20.

During the quarter under review, Tanla authorized 80 new customers, with an yearly potential revenue of Rs 80 crore, across various areas, including e-commerce, BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance), EdTech, telecom, among others, the declaration said.

The Hyderabad counter of the National Corporation Law Tribunal (NCLT) accepted the merger of Karix Mobile Private Limited and even Unicel Technologies Private Restricted with Tanla Corporation Individual Limited on June 30, 2020.

“As approved inside the NCLT Order, Tanla should be named as Karix controlled by regulatory approvals,” that added.
