Gold rises by Rs 251, silver jumps Rs 261


NEW DELHI: Gold prices rose by Rs 251 to Rs 52,149 per 10 g in the national capital upon Wednesday, according to HDFC Sec. In the previous trade, the rare metal had closed at Rs 51,898 per 10 gram.

Silver prices furthermore jumped Rs 261 for you to Rs 69,211 for each kilogram from Rs 68,950 per kilogram in the earlier trade.

In the global market, gold and silver were trading flat with $1,931.60 for each ounce and $26.70 per ounce, respectively.

“Gold prices kept range-bound trading on mixed global tips,” HDFC Securities Senior citizen Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said.

The increasing number of coronavirus cases along with the US-China tensions kept drawback limited, he added.
