Copper futures fall on weak demand
New Delhi: Copper prices on Thursday slipped by Rs 3.65 to Rs 525.60 per kg as participants cut down their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for the September delivery eased by Rs 3.65, or 0.69 per cent, to Rs 525.60 per kg in a business turnover of 4,204 lots. Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators as a result of muted demand in the location market mainly led to the fall in copper prices here.
